Dimas Forchetti
Dimas desenha desde pequeno, sempre com o apoio e incentivo dos pais, e na busca pela distinção de seu traço, foi influenciado por Graffitti, Xilogravura, comportamento humano e religião (mesmo tratando esse ultimo tema com descaso). Dentre suas referências estão: Jeremy Fish, Mike Giant, Pablo Picasso, Botero, Barry Mcgee, Alexone, Jean Spezial e Tarsila do Amaral.
A temática de sua obra, trabalhada sempre em poucas cores, abusa da introspecção, melancolia e solidão, além de ironizar o medo que as pessoas tem de pecar e serem julgadas.
Dimas has been drawing since he was a little boy, always with the support and encouragement of his parents, and in the searching for distinction in his design he was influenced by graffiti, woodcut prints, human behaviour and religion (theme wich he works with carelessness). Amongst his references are: Jeremy Fish, Mike Giant, Pablo Picasso, Botero, Barry Mcgee, Alexone, Jean Spezial and Tarsila do Amaral.
The subject of his pieces, always elaborated with few colours, shows self-reflexion, melancholy and solitude, besides mocking people’s fear of sinning and being judged.
