Pilar Vargas Pinzón
Bogotá, 1982︎
Formada em Artes plásticas e visuais pela Universidade Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, Escola ASAB, Bogotá Colômbia, e atualmente cursando mestrado em Artes Visuais na linha de processos de criação visual, na Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), Brasil. Seu trabalho centra-se na cidade, natureza e paisagem, sendo a relação entre estes três o principal objetivo de pesquisa durante os últimos projetos desenvolvidos. Em suas obras, a imagem bidimensional, o espaço e os problemas que representa, têm sido a linguagem preferida para comunicar preocupações sobre a relação de construção e destruição que se estabelece entre a cidade e suas periferias verdes.
Graduated in Plastic and Visual Arts at Francisco José de Caldas District University, ASAB School, Bogotá Colombia, and currently pursuing a master's degree in Visual Arts in the line of visual creation processes at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), Brazil. Her work focuses on the city, nature and landscape, and the relationship between these three has been the main research objective during the last developed projects. In her pieces, the two-dimensional image, space and the issues it represents have been the preferred language for communicating concerns about the relationship of construction and destruction that is established between the city and its green outskirts.
