Álison Souza

É artista visual e pesquisador, vive entre Itatim e Cachoeira (BA). Graduando em Artes Visuais pela UFRB, investiga pintura, escultura e gravura a partir da comunidade rural Ponta Aguda, onde cresceu. Suas obras partem de memórias afetivas e coletivas, explorando a representação do espaço rural e as relações cultivadas no território, compondo uma poética de pertencimento e resistência.
Projetos selecionados incluem participação na exposição coletiva TRAVESSIA, no Museu de Arte Contemporânea Raimundo de Oliveira e na 3ª edição do Circuito de Arte de Boteco. Em 2025 integra o programa de formação de jovens artistas “Práticas Desobedientes” como bolsista do Fundo Elixir.

Visual artist and researcher, living between Itatim and Cachoeira (BA). An undergraduate in Visual Arts at UFRB, he explores painting, sculpture, and printmaking from the perspective of Ponta Aguda, the rural community where he grew up. His works emerge from affective and collective memories, addressing the representation of rural space and the relationships cultivated within the territory, shaping a poetics of belonging and resistance.
